This week we worked on a special COP 26 outside broadcast for ITV News Meridian at The Living Rainforest in Berkshire.
The thirty minute broadcast brought together four cameras and cameramen including another freelancer and our cameraman.
TV legend and Meridian News anchor Fred Dinenage presented alongside Sangeeta Bhabra.
As the broadcast was at night we had to use four of our main panel lights to compliment the ones owned by ITV. We also set up one of our Aputure 300d as the main key light with a large softbox, this gave a nice soft light to the presenters.
The main issue was letting all the equipment and cameras acclimatise to the environment. Our camera took nearly two hours to adjust its temperature to the hot house.
