Today, our cameraman Tom was in Gloucester filming for BBC Points West.
Collaborating with Steve Knibbs, he captured footage both on the ground and from the air with our drone.
Repairs on a Grade-I listed building in Gloucester have been completed, thanks to a £314,163 grant from Historic England. This merchant's house, dating back to the late 16th century, is the largest remaining historic timber-framed townhouse in the country and now serves as an antiques centre in the heart of Gloucester.
Due to the narrow passageway and the fact the building faced into the courtyard the only real way to view the building was from the air with our drone.

Since 2012, the building had been listed on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register due to its deteriorating condition.
The restored building has been redecorated with pigmented limewash and now boasts one of the finest Tudor facades in the country. It includes reproduced historic signage for the Gloucester Antiques Centre and features an intricate gargoyle carving discovered during the repairs, now available for public viewing.
