Sir Jonathan Porritt Interview - BBC Newsnight

Last night we supplied a crew to BBC Newsnight. We were deployed to Cheltenham to provide a live DTL (down the line) broadcast with Sir Jonathon Porritt CBE. Sir Jonathan is a British environmentalist and writer. He is known for his advocacy of the Green Party of England and Wales.

On 9 August 2025, during a protest in Parliament Square, London, Sir Jonathon Porritt was among 532 individuals arrested by the Metropolitan Police. The protest, organised by Defend Our Juries, was in opposition to the UK government’s proscription of the group Palestine Action under anti-terrorism legislation.
