Inside Porton Down for BBC News

Just before Christmas we sent a crew to the top secret Porton Down site to film for the BBC.

Porton Down is a very secure science and defence technology campus in Wiltshire, England, that is home to the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) and the UK Health Security Agency.

We were filming a new laboratory that has been created to boost the UK's ability to fight future pandemics like Covid-19.

We used both our normal Sony TV camera and our Osmo Pocket 3 gimbal allowing for some nice slow motion sequences.

The story aired on BBC Points West and BBC South Today on 3/1/25. You can watch it below.
